Deposits
The third six weeks
progress report period ended on
December 12th. Progress reports were distributed on Wednesday,
Dec. 17th in
Advisory period. Final exams for the first semester begin on Monday, Jan.
12th. See the
final exam schedule for dates and times for
each final. Finals on Monday are B1 & B4, Tuesday, A1 & A4, Wednesday, B2
& B3, & Thursday, A2 & A3. There will be early dismissal on
Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 14 & 15, 2009.
 Parents
may now pay
student fines online, rather than
sending your student to the Activity Office. Also, deposits may be made to
your student's
lunch account
online.
Parents may now log in to Parent
Connection to check student grades and
attendance. Parents must sign up for this.
(Directions are here!) If you are not the
parent of record, you will be on a waiting list to be approved. (If you
wait for long, email the webmaster
for advice on this.) You will
be able to add all of your students in BISD to one login. Once you gain
access, you can set triggers so that you will be notified of low averages,
absences or such. Be aware that many teachers only enter grades once per
week. If you have a question about why your student made a particular
grade, the first person to ask would be your student. Teacher email
addresses are available from the Academic link, under the appropriate
department. It is our hope that improved communication with parents will
improve student performance and grades. We hope both you and your
students will keep an eye on their grades.

Project Graduation
is a special celebration on the night of graduation. Click here for more

Students who wish test out of the
Keyboarding prerequisite for all Technology
courses may contact Mrs. Hubert. Students must be able to type by touch with correct reaches and
accuracy at a speed of at least
30 words
per minute. To schedule a test, you must contact
Mrs. Hubert in 119B. Tests
are usually given on B day mornings at 7:30, but can be scheduled after school
on B days. See the calendar to find
out which days are A days and B days. Testing may be done now
Assignments may be requested after the 3rd
day of absences from the Guidance Office. Call
Ms. Vern at ext. 29122 or you may
email her.
Parents, if you have pictures that you
would like to submit for possible use on our web site, please send them to
the webmaster or they may be
dropped off in Room 119B. All photos will be appreciated! Thanks!

the graduating class of that year. We will be glad to pass on any information
