SEARCH Nomination Information & Online Registration for Kindergarten

In order to improve the SEARCH nomination process, BISD has created a voluntary online nomination procedure for both parents and teachers. We would appreciate if you would:

The student/parent nomination forms are available on the internet for your easy access. The teacher form is password protected for additional security.

BISD feels that parental input is valuable for the younger student who has not been attending school for very long. For this reason, we ask you to take a survey about your child as part of the SEARCH nomination process. The parent nomination form will ask for basic information along with a 30 question survey about your child and a few questions for you to tell us about him/her. The student nomination form only asks for basic student information

This nomination period (September 29 - October 20) is only for Kindergarten students.
When asked on the form, you are nominating them for "Kindergarten".

Con el objeto de mejorar el proceso de nominación al programa de SEARCH, BISD ha creado un proceso de nominación en línea voluntario para los padres y los maestros.  Le agradeceríamos si usted sigue lo siguiente:

BISD piensa que la contribución de información de los padres es invaluable para los estudiantes más jóvenes (K-3), quienes no han asistido a la escuela por mucho tiempo.  Por esta razón le pedimos que conteste un cuestionario acerca de su hijo(a) como parte del proceso de nominación al programa de SEARCH.  La forma de nominación de los padres pide información básica junto con un cuestionario de 30 preguntas acerca de su niño(a) y algunas preguntas para que usted nos hable acerca de él/ella.  Para las nominaciones en grados 4-12, solamente se necesita información básica del estudiante.

Este período de nominación (Septiembre 29 - Octubre 20) es solamente para estudiantes de NUEVO INGRESO a BISD.  (La fecha límite es Septiembre 15)

If the student is new to BISD (September-October) - the student nomination grade is the current school year

During the Kindergarten nomination period (October) - the student nomination grade is Kindergarten

During the Fall K-12 nomination period (November-December) - the student nomination grade is the grade the student will be in the next school year (NOT their current grade)

1. Login to the Teacher Nomination Survey here using the name and password given to you by your campus contact.
2. Fill out the Teacher Nomination Survey.
3. "Save" it to submit your answers. A confirmation page will appear.
4. Print the teacher confirmation page to turn in with the Parent Nomination confirmation page.
5. Turn in both forms to the campus contact. If any corrections to either form, write the corrected information so that it stands out on the appropriate form.
