Please select the nomination grade. This may or may not be the current grade level. If the student is:

  • new to BISD and the nomination period is August-September, select the current grade level.
  • currently in Kindergarten and the nomination period is October, select Kindergarten
  • being nominated for the following school year and the nomination period is November-December, select the grade level the student will be in NEXT year

In nominating a child for BISD’s gifted program, SEARCH, parents are asked to complete a checklist of behaviors.  This checklist allows you to provide input based upon observations of your son/daughter outside of school.
