Ney's Award-Winning CEI Lab
Elisabet Ney Elementary School in Lake Jackson, is the proud recipient of "Exemplary Lab" recognition from Creative Education Institute. The school uses CEI's Essential Learning Systems for helping students to improve reading skills. This therapeutic, interactive technological program has proven successful in schools all across America in providing qualifying students with a long-term solution that helps them become self-motivated learners.
To achieve this "exemplary" status, Ney Elementary adhered to CEI's recommended implementation and educational criteria that has proven to provide the most successful results. The school completed a rigorous application and competed with over 200 applicants for the exemplary recognition.
Ney Elementary is proud of the success of the students in this educational lab setting. ELS's activities link the visual, auditory and motor kinesthetic pathways in the brain, thus significantly improving a student's ability to implant and recall information.
Ney Elementary School's successful CEI lab richly deserves this special recognition for the difference that it is making in the students' lives. The lab facilitators, school principal, and teachers are to be congratulated on their campus-wide endorsement of this wonderful, unique program.
