Our assistant principal is Charles Hawkins. He has been the assistant principal at Polk since September 2004. He taught Special Education for 10 years prior to becoming AP. This is his 14th year as an educator.  He graduated from Brazosport High School and earned his bachelor degree from Texas A&M and his master degree from Prairie View A&M. He is married  and has 2 children, a son who attends Brazosport High School and a daughter who attends Gladys Polk Elementary. We are so glad to have him at our school!
