Delia Broom was a kindergarten student at Velasco Elementary, graduated from Brazosport High School and then graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.  She has three children, Prell, Geneva, and Jansen.  Her husband, Butch, is a choral director at Brazoswood High School.  Geneva Williams, daughter, teaches at Ney Elementary.  The most important member of the family right now is Bailey Broom, her young granddaughter.  Delia grew up in Oyster Creek and lives in Lake Jackson.
