Welcome to the 1st grade classroom of Mrs.
Monica Terry. Monica and her husband Wendell have two children,
Cameron, 9, and Brandon, 5. She attended Southern Illinois
University in Carbondale, Illinois with a bachelors in education.
Mrs. Terry has taught for 2 years in Illinois, 1 year in Colorado
and for 3 years in Michigan. This is her first year teaching at
Polk Elementary. In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending
time with her family. The best thing about teaching for Mrs. Terry
is giving students meaningful learning experiences and getting
students excited about learning.
