Nancy Mikulencak has been at Polk since January 2003. She taught for five years before her children were born and then spent 12 years being a full-time mom! She graduated from Brazoswood High School and Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State). She has three children: Justin, who attends Brazoswood High School; Collin, who attends Lake Jackson Intermediate; and Rachel, who attends Gladys Polk Elementary.
