All students assigned to the LLC will wear
a plain white shirt/blouse and black or navy blue pants/jeans, skirts or
slacks, no shorts. The plain white shirt/blouse cannot have any logos,
pictures, markings (except trademarks), and must have a conventional collar.
Colored garments, other than white, should not be visible under the
shirt/blouse.

Pants/jeans, slacks, or trousers must be
worn to the navel and supported by a black or brown belt. Belts may not
have heavy metal buckles, metal decorations or chains. Sagging, baggy pants,
and garments with stripes, floral designs and/or other designs will not be
allowed. Jeans with logos or any cartoon designs
represented are unacceptable.

Shirttails must be tucked in tightly on
all shirts and blouses. Medical reason is the only
excusable exception.

Tank tops, sleeveless garments, and
garments containing heavy metal buckles or chains will not be allowed.

Scooped-neck tops extending below the
neckline will not be allowed.

Shirts and blouses must be buttoned within
one button of the collar. No zipper style shirts.

Cut-off pants, slacks, jeans or Capri
style pants will not be allowed.

Skirts may be no shorter than one inch
above the knee.

Socks or hosiery must be worn with shoes;
sandals, slides, house shoes, etc., are not allowed.

Shoe strings (laces) in tennis shoes
must be either black or white. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Shoes need to be laced and tied in front. If shoes have straps, straps need to
be secured.

Identifiable gang-related apparel will not
be allowed.

The only jewelry that may be worn at LLC
is a wristwatch. Billfold chains are prohibited. Body piercing is prohibited.

Tattoos must be covered at all
times—before arriving at LLC.

Valuables should be left at home.
Leave all jewelry at home.

Backpacks, satchels, book bags, binders,
purses, pen/pencil and make-up bags are unacceptable at LLC.

All students referred to LLC are expected
to be well groomed. Boys’ hair shall be cut to prevent it from extending below
the eyebrow in front, below the bottom of the ear on sides and shall not
extend below the bottom of the conventional shirt collar in the back. Beards
and/or mustaches will not be worn by students. Side burns shall be trimmed no
lower than the bottom of the ear and shall not be extreme.
THIS SHOULD BE HANDLED PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT SCHOOL.

Extravagant, bizarre, inappropriate hair
styles, and outlandish or unnatural nail or hair color will not be allowed.
Neither boys nor girls shall be permitted to wear
earrings or any other body piercing ornaments.

No temporary dental covers (grills) will
be allowed; only permanent dental appliances affixed by a dentist will be
allowed.
