There are many things to brag about at Beutel, but the most treasured will always be our fine students. We could not ask for more effort from these hardworking boys and girls. They are the motivational force which inspires teachers and staff to give 100%.

Beutel Elementary takes great pride in being rated EXEMPLARY by the Texas Education Agency for fourteen consecutive years: 1993/94, 1994/95, 1995/96, 1996/97, 1997/98, 1998/99, 1999/2000, 2000/01 , 2001/2002, 2002/2003, 2003/2004, 2004/2005, 2005/2006 and 2006/2007.

Honor Roll

    A.P. Beutel Elementary has made the TBEC/JFTK honor roll.  This honor roll recognizes consistent performance over three years from schools rated exemplary or recognized that have excellent performance in each grade, in each subject, and that rate in the top quartile of their peer group. There are 70 other schools across Texas that are included in this group.  We are very proud to have the hard work of our students, teachers and staff recognized by such a prestigious organization.

TEXAS MONTHLY FOUR STAR SCHOOL

Our campus also has the distinction of receiving FOUR STARS by the publication, Texas Monthly. The four stars indicate that all students, regardless of ethnicity or socioeconomic status, are achieving at a comparable rate. There is no significant difference in achievement levels at Beutel. We truly believe and embrace the notion that ALL students can learn.

The exemplary achievement at our school comes in part from an active parent component that includes a supportive P. T. O. We cannot say thank you enough to our parents and our Beutel community for the efforts given to make this a successful school.
