At Beutel Elementary we have the best nurse any school could have! Our nurse is Mrs. Binnie Bauml, RN. She serves not only as school nurse with many and varied official responsibilities. She also does many things not in her job description. Mrs. Bauml has a very kind and loving heart for children.

She has remedied many situations with her hugs and soothing words. |

She dispenses safety pins for torn clothing and lost buttons. |

Mrs. Bauml has traded many wet and muddy clothes for clean, dry clothes! |

She combs hair, wipes away tears, and cleans dirty eye- glasses. |

She has a soft shoulder and a good listening ear. |

Most importantly, Mrs. Bauml makes each child feel very special! |
You probably can tell that we’re pretty crazy about our nurse here at Beutel.
Besides taking care of the physical needs (and sometimes emotional needs) of our Beutel students, Mrs. Bauml stays busy with other tasks. Our Beutel health program includes individual student assessment, referral, and counseling. Each grade level is presented with health or safety programs that enhance wellness awareness. Mrs. Bauml wears many hats in our school. We really appreciate her!
