The Early Learning Team at Beutel is comprised of the Preschool Program Children with Disabilities class, Pre-K and Kindergarten.

Preschool Program Children with Disabilities serves children ages 3-6 with special needs. The teacher for PPCD is Mrs. Bollom and her instructional aide, Mrs. Jamison . |

Pre-K serves 4 year-olds who qualify on language and needs. Mrs. Bollom is the Pre-K teacher. |

The Early Years are special years for parents and children. This is their first experience with public education, so we seek to make that transition an exciting and easy one through orientation for both children and parents.
Following the premise that childhood should be a journey, not a race, we seek to provide an inclusive and developmentally-appropriate program for early learners.

Through manipulatives and hands-on experiences , the children are exposed to letters, sounds and numbers. |

In an effort to provide relevant learning experiences, field trips are taken to the County Fair, Pumpkin Patch, Planetarium and Museum, and Quintana Park. |

Fun and learning is experienced by all at special times such as Apple Pumpkin, Thanksgiving Festival, and Go Texan Day. |
Emphasis is placed on the importance of language. The single most important things parents can do for their young child is to read to them. Thanks for reading to your child!
