Information Library Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM School days Passes: Students must have a signed pass from a staff member during class time. Not required before or after school or during lunch. Special pass required for Internet use. Check-Out: Two weeks on books. Reserve books checked out overnight only. Overdue Notices: YOU are responsible for returning books on time. Overdue notices are sent to you by way of your poor overworked English teacher. Fines: Ten cents (.10) per DAY for overdue books. Maximum fine of $5 or cost of replacing book. Librarians: Two of the best: Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Courts = 100 + years combined experience and knowledge (we’ve been learning from the cradle) at your disposal. Just ask us. We may not know the answer but we’ll do our best to help you find out. Books: Over 11,000 in fiction, non-fiction, and reference Periodicals: Current subscriptions to25 hard copy magazines plus computer access to many others. Computers Public Access Catalog (PAC) ) networked with all BISD schools. This is how you find the books. The INTERNET – You know what that is ****** INTERNET POLICY: Each student MUST have an Internet Agreement on file signed by you and your parent before being allowed access to the Internet. Printing from Computers: Two pages printed free. Other pages @ $.05/page including mistakes. Copier: A coin operated, self-serve copier is available for your use @$.15/copy.
