SECTION III
Withdrawals and Removals
Article I
A.
A member may withdraw through her
personal choice.
B.
Members of the organization who withdraw
by choice for any reason may not rejoin the group without meeting all
requirements for new membership.
Article II
A.
Students who fail to maintain grade
and/or conduct standards shall be on probation. Probation means that the
student shall be removed from activities for the following six weeks.
B.
If the student’s grades and conduct
become satisfactory by the end of the following six weeks, the student may
resume participation.
C.
If the student’s grades and/or conduct
do not become satisfactory by the end of the following six weeks, the student
shall be removed from the team and may only be reinstated through the try-out
method.
D.
Only one probationary period per
student, per year will be permitted. Membership will be terminated if a member
earns a second probationary period in a year.
E.
Members who have been involuntarily
removed for unsatisfactory conduct as a team member may not try out again.
F.
The principal has the final decision
related to any and all dance/drill team activities.
Article III
A.
The failure to maintain any
qualification required for membership shall warrant removal by the director from
the organization. This includes Section II, Article I, Part A, as documented by
the director.
B.
Proof of the following will result in
immediate dismissal:
1.
Possession/use/illegal use of alcohol,
tobacco, illegal drugs in Belle uniform, Belle shirts, or practice clothing.
2.
Possession/use/illegal use of alcohol,
tobacco, illegal drugs on school grounds or on school sponsored activities.
