Mission Statement:  According to Dictionary.com, cacophony is the use of harsh or discordant sounds in literary composition, as for poetic effect.  The dissonance created by a cacophony might be used as a metaphor by high school students to describe their lives.  With that in mind, we have created Cacophony, an online magazine of literature and art produced by the high school students of Brazosport ISD.  Our editorial board is made up of students from both high schools who select and publish the work of their peers in this twice-yearly journal.  The mission of this magazine is to provide a place for students to use their creativity to help make some sense of the cacophony that is their lives.
