"Dog and Horses" by Frances Cowart

The contrast between the sizes of the two species is really nice. I really like how two of my favorite animals are featured in this picture. It makes me think of freedom in a very broad sense. It's possible that the dog or the horses are looking out towards the other animal looking in. it seems like both want to be on the other side. Kind of like how the grass is greener. The almost line of symmetry (strictly speaking non-geometrically) splitting the two horses and the dog in half really appeals to my sense of balance without being too obvious.    -Tiffany Chen

"Hanging Shells" by Crystal Timbeross

This picture, "Hanging Shells", is definitely my favorite on this site. It is extremely captivating and can even be called mysterious. I'm not even exactly sure what it's a picture of, and that is what makes it the most interesting. It makes your mind work in order to make sense of the picture. Absolutely wonderful job.    -Chris Peters

"Lighted Path" by Sarah Flores

I really like this because you took a simple element like a stone pathway and turned it into this huge mystery. It makes people wonder exactly where this path is going and what is so special about it. Also, why does the light choose to follow it? I think it is amazing that you were able to spot this everyday place out and turn it into art.    -Kristin McNabb

"My Sunrise" by Somer Robinson

I love this picture. The black and white makes it seem classic, but still beautiful even though you can't see the colors of the sunrise. I also love how it is titled "My Sunrise" and you can see the girl in the side mirror on the car, with her camera, adding to the meaning of the title, because it really is hers at that moment.    -Sarah Rickaway

This picture is full of sunshine and smiles. I can feel the warmth hitting me in the face.    -Melissa Hallman

"Eating Fish" by Phillip White

This is really cool. I like how you did it. Looks like you are actually eating him.    -Nick Pisarski
