Jay Whitehead
Jay Whitehead is principal here at Clute Intermediate. His job is to make sure that the students have a safe place to learn. Mr. Whitehead has a Bachelors of Art in English from Lamar University, and a Masters of Science from the University of Houston. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and fishing. Mr. Whitehead previously worked at Rasco Middle School, Lake Jackson Intermediate, and Clear Creek High School

Toni Roden
Toni Roden is an assistant principal at Clute Intermediate. She has received her masters in Industrial Technology and certification in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Roden became a teacher for 4th grade at West Columbia Elementary school and 6th grade at Brazoria Intermediate. She then taught 6th through 8th grade reading and reading improvement at Sweeny High. She loves working with all types of kids and likes being involved with the community. Mrs. Roden wants to make sure that CIS is safe, fun, and an excellent involvement for student learning. What Mrs. Roden likes to do on her free time is garden, spend time with her granddaughter and family.

John Galaviz is an assistant principal at CIS. He received his Bachelors of Science at The University of Houston and is working on a Masters of Science. In his spare time Mr. Galaviz enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family. He also enjoys working with students and faculty at CIS. Mr. Galaviz would like to work on new things to improve the campus environment. Principal Galaviz is a former CIS student as well as a teacher.
Marilou Duchaney is an assistant principal at CIS. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education at Baylor University and a Master of Science in Educational Management from the university of Clear Lake. She has taught grades 2, 3, 5, and 6 in Conroe ISD, Sweeny ISD, and Brazosport ISD. Mrs. Duchaney likes to see great things the students here can do. Since education is always changing she tries to find new strategies and techniques that make it easier on the students. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family, read, and decorate her house.
