The purpose of the Dens at CIS is
to create a way to compete within each grade level. Each grade level
has two dens. Dens will compete in various activities this year.
The plan is for the Dens to motivate students to out perform their rival
dens in academic areas. The long term plan is to have academic pep rallies
to honor those that in academic areas.
The officer's responsibilities are to help determine what the guidelines
will be for competition, awards, and pep rallies. Dens are similar to teams,
but the best outcome of dens is a way to allow students to motivate each
other in a positive direction.
