Laduskye
Withers is an instructional aide at Clute Intermediate
School. She attended college at Lamar University. Her
children inspired her to work with kids. She likes to see
the students' faces light up when they succeed. She
enjoys working with her fellow workers. She works with
challenged students because it feels rewarding.

Geneva Luna
is the disciple clerk (ISS teacher) at Clute Intermediate School.
She attended college at Victoria College and Brazosport
College. Ms. Luna has worked at Angleton Middle School
West. Her favorite thing about working at C.I.S. is
interacting and helping the students with their homework
or class work. Her least favorite thing about working at
C.I.S. is that sometimes there is not enough time in the
day. She also truly enjoys her job because of the great
staff she works with. She said, "I understand that
I'm not the only one that has a busy schedule."

Felicia Vasquez

Felicia Vasquez is an ESL aide
at Clute Intermediate. She previously worked at Even Start/Special
Programs and at Velasco Elementary. Ms. Vasquez enjoys working
with the friendly staff and helping her students. She would like
to become a Pre-K or Kindergarten teacher. Ms. Vasquez loves
shopping, spending quality time with her daughter, and reading. |

Alicia Salinas
Alicia Salinas
graduated from Brazoswood High School and attended Brazosport Community
College for 2 years. She enjoys walking and spending time with her sons
John, Michael, and Christopher. She loves to see them play baseball and
going to see the Astros with her family. We asked, "If you could be
anything else what would you be?" She answered, "A teacher! I hope I'll
finish my degree one day. I stayed home with my boys for nine years and
substituted at Madge Griffith Elementary every now and then." Her
favorite thing about working at CIS is seeing how nice every one is so
friendly. She also loves to see her teachers from whenever she was in
school and seeing how they are still here and they look great. "I became
a teacher aid because I volunteer a lot at school and realized I
love working with children and I can make a difference feedback." |

Vicky Kilsby

Mrs. Kilsby became a library aid,
because she enjoys being with students, and she loves books. Her
favorite things about working at CIS are the students and faculty. Some
hobbies and interest of hers include scrap booking, fishing, hunting
with her family, and baseball. She also loves to read books. If
she could be anything else besides a library aid she would like to work
with students who have troubles or don't like to read.

Margarita DelaFuente works
as an aide in the ESL program. Mrs. DelaFuente enjoys practicing piano
when she has time, and reading. Mrs. DelaFuente used to work in Special
Programs in the migrant program. She is a CMA, and has three children.
Mrs. DelaFuente`s favorite thing about Clute Intermediate is
getting to work with the staff and students. |

Alicia Sanchez
Alicia Sanchez works as s
Special Education Aide and cheerleader sponsor. She is currently in
college working on her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. Mrs. Sanchez has previously
worked at Albertson's for 12 years. Her favorite thing about working at
C.I.S. is that she likes the willingness of everyone to help students be
successful. Mrs. Sanchez enjoys to read and spend time with her family.
She has three kids--a daughter Priscilla, and two boys, Albert and
Stevan.

Mrs. Kenneda has been
involved in special needs programs throughout her career within BISD. At
Rasco Middle School from 1999-2005 she worked in Special Education/Life
Skills. In 2005-2007 she worked as an assistant to the Diagnostician and
Behavioral Support Team. Currently she works in the Compass Program at
CIS. She says that "working in this program was a personal advancement
for me in an area which I have felt deeply about for many years." She
says she values the opportunity to support the families and students in
all areas of the Compass program. Mrs. Kenneda says she is home now and
is very proud to be a member of the CIS family. In her spare time she
likes to spend time with her husband and children as well as fishing,
bicycling, and doing yard work. She states, "All I can say about being a
grandmother of two is it is the perfect love ...and soooo GRAND being a
grandparent! |

Phillips
Cassie Phillips is an instructional aide in the
Life Skills class at CIS. She also coaches volleyball, basketball,
and track. Mrs. Phillips graduated from the University of Houston with a
major in history. She says, "I have spent this year getting to know the
kids, the teachers, and our school system. Next year I would love to
teach here at Clute. Go Cougars!" |

Robinson Susie Robinson
moved from the Clear Lake area in 2001 and became a volunteer at Rasco
Middle School. That volunteer work became a full time position working
with the Streamliners for 2 years. She then moved on to the science
department at Rasco. Mrs. Robinson joined the CIS family in 2007 working
with the Compass Team. She says "I have the great fortune of having an
active and loving family. We enjoy spending our time together." She also
enjoys working in the yard, practicing yoga, and watching all the plants
and wildlife around her. |

Evanicky Brandie Evanicky
is a special education aide (Inclusion Support) for CIS. She attended
the University of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and
Alvin Community College. She is hoping to begin working to finish her
degree plan in the near future. In her spare time, she enjoys spending
time with her husband and little girl. She says, "I truly feel blessed
to have the opportunity to influence right choices and strong
performance amongst the children that I work with." |
