Dewitt Mathews
Dewitt Mathews is an art teacher at Clute Intermediate School. He attended Sam Houston State University. He also taught seventh eighth grade at Freeport and Lake Jackson Intermediate Schools. He likes seeing a sense of satisfaction when students complete some thing they are proud of. He does not like that you can't always create a sense of pride in all the students.

Mary Anderson
Mary Anderson is an art teacher at Clute Intermediate School. Mrs. Anderson attended college at Clark College in Dubuque, Iowa and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Mrs. Anderson has previously taught at Brenham Middle School. The reason she likes to teach students about art is because she loves art and working with kids. She likes to teach because she thinks students should know about artists and their artworks. Mrs. Anderson has three children and enjoys hunting and fishing. She is also one of 13 children in her family. Mary Anderson thinks C.I.S. is a very good school because the teachers are very hard workers and they try their best to help children.
