Charlene Cady |
Mrs. Carlene Cady is thrilled and delighted to be teaching fifth grade Reading, Language Arts, and Spelling at CIS. Fifth graders are funny, interesting, and make the day go by quickly. Mrs. Cady was a professional college student at UMKC, and realized if she wanted to be in school all the time, then teaching would be a great profession! Mrs. Cady has a passion for traveling! Mrs. Cady has visited all 50 states of our wonderful nation. She grew up in Kansas, and has worked as a nanny in New York, South Carolina, Kansas, and Missouri. Mrs. Cady took a one year sabbatical and backpacked for a year through the South Pacific. A month in Tahiti, three months in New Zealand, six months in Australia, six week in Fiji, and two weeks in Hawaii provided many wonderful memories. Mrs. Cay worked as a caregiver in New Zealand and Australia. Mrs. Cady kept a daily journal that was ready by over 100 people. Mrs. Cady, her husband, and daughter moved to Texas 10 years ago to enjoy the salt water fishing and mild winters. A perfect day would be described as a day at the beach with my family, a book, and a fishing pole with a black tip shark on the hook! |
