Bryan Agan
teaches physical education at Clute Intermediate School.
He is inspired by the love of sports, and wants to help
kids be successful. He says the best thing about coaching
is seeing young people improve and the joy they get from
success. He has coached football, basketball, track, and
weight lifting. In college he got his bachelors degree in
radio, TV, and film. He got his masters degree in
kinesology.

Carrie Austgen
This is Carrie Austgen's first
year teaching Physical Education and coaching at CIS. She has taught in
Galveston ISD, La Marque ISD, First Colony Middle School, Fortbend, and
San Jacinto College. She received her bachelor's degree in PE from TAMU
and a master's degree in Human Fitness and Performance from UHCL. She
enjoys teaching PE because it is an opportunity to teach young people
how to play/ have fun and exercise at the same time. She is having fun
at CIS because the students are hardworking and enjoy as a team while
CIS understands the benefits and importance of extracurricular
activities for its students. Coach Austgen's hobbies include mountain
biking, attending coaching clinics, bowling, and stained glass.

Kelly Perry

Kelly PerryCoach Perry teaches
6th grade physical education and girls athletics. She received her
degree from Lamar University. Her high school volleyball coach,
one of her aunts and uncles inspired her to teach. In her spare
time she enjoys walking and playing with her dogs, reading, offshore
fishing, and swimming. Ms. Perry likes all the students, their
personalities and getting to see them learn something new. She has
worked at New Caney, Bridge City, and Brazosport High School. |

Jared Atkins
Jared Atkins teaches P.E.
here at Clute Intermediate. Mr. Atkins attended Southwest Texas State,
and received his bachelors in exercise and sports, and his bachelors in
science with a math minor. Mr. Atkins enjoys playing golf, basketball,
and slow pitch softball. Mr. Atkins has previously taught at Rasco
Middle School. He says that his favorite thing at C.I.S. is his
colleagues. Mr. Atkins say, "My colleagues are awesome. They are always
willing to lend a helping hand in any situation. Some of my colleagues
taught me here when I was a kid." |

Clint Crisp
Clint Crisp teaches 7th &
8th grade physical education and athletics at CIS. Coach Crisp attended
Rice University and received his bachelor's degree in Business
Management a a second degree in Sports Management. Coach Crisp enjoys
fishing, playing basketball, and lifting weights. He feels fortunate to
the the opportunity to work and coach with quality people on a daily
basis. He also feels the best thing about coaching is the feeling you
get, as a coach, from having a positive impact on a future
student-athlete by providing him or her with the coaching and guidance
they need to improve and succeed in the game of life. |
