Mr. Jim Crainer and Mr. Silver Martinez took 9 students to the Technology Student Association (TSA) State Contest in Waco where they showed off their amazing projects and were rewarded for their hard work. Below are the results of the TSA State Contest.
Mr. Crainer's welding student awards:
1st place: Zack Nieto - Individual Build - Metal Project not to exceed 400 lbs - a BBQ Pit
1st place: Hector Nunez and Joseph Oliva - Team Build - Metal Project not to exceed 150 lbs - a Fire Pit Grill
1st place: Cruz Cabrera, Dillian Holloway and Jesse Cortez - Team Build - Metal Project not to exceed 350 lbs - a BBQ Pit
2nd place: Ashley Matusek - Individual Build - Metal Project not to exceed 150 lbs
Mr. Martinez's student awards:
1st place: Ruben Rodriguez, Polo Cisneros and Marcus Garcia - Team Build - Trailer and Picnic Table, both won 1st place on different categories
8th place: Emanuel Ochoa - Architecture and Design Drafting
