Mission Statement:
To provide a learning environment that inspires in our students and families the passion and the power to make positive life choices by becoming architects of their future. We also provide educational programs with high expectations for all to learn the academic, social and emotional skills needed to become lifelong learners.

- To provide then necessary resources and research for quality programs.
Description of Programs: Title I funding provides supplemental resources to basic programs to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families provide high-quality education that will enable all children to meet the state’s student performance standards. Title I, Part A supports schools in implementing school-wide program. This program must use effective methods and instructional strategies that are grounded in scientifically based research.
Eligibility Criteria: The services are provided in designated Title I schools throughout the district. The low socioeconomic students and the students scoring below expected levels on various assessments are given priority to services.
Services Offered: Extended time, one-on-one tutorials, class reduction ratios, intensive instruction time

Description of Program: Brazosport Independent School District is dedicated to providing a quality education for every student in our district. To accomplish this objective, the district will develop and maintain partnerships with parents/caregivers, patrons, and community members. Brazosport ISD will involve parents/caregivers in all aspects of the various programs offered in Brazosport ISD schools. Everyone gains if school, home and community work together.
Description of Program: BISD Community Liaisons provide referral service and connections to social agencies to ensure students receive appropriate support for school success. The federal program also provides a social worker for Title I campuses and homeless students.
Eligibility Criteria: All BISD students are eligible for these services.

Description of Program: This program objective is to ensure that Limited English proficient students achieve and master the necessary skills in a transitional bilingual program. The goal is to develop competent students who are lifelong learners and successful citizens in out multi-cultural society. Bilingual/ESOL education emphasizes the mastery of English language skills and content area concepts, and skills in order for students to be able to participate effectively in the regular education classroom.
Eligibility Criteria: All students identified as (LEP) Limited English Proficient based on an oral language proficiency test.
Services Offered: In Bilingual Education, instruction is provided in the native language in order to build a solid foundation and transition to English. ESL (English as a Second Language) only students received services to support second language acquisition. In secondary ESOL Program (English Speakers of Other Language), English instruction is provided to support the second language learner.

Description of Program: The purpose of the Migrant Education Program is to design and support programs that help migrant students overcome the challenges of mobility, cultural and language barriers, social isolations, and other difficulties associated with a migratory lifestyle in order to succeed in school and to successfully transition to postsecondary education or employment.
Students are eligible if within the last three years you and /or your children have moved from one school district to another in Texas or out of state in order to seek/obtain temporary or seasonal employment in agricultural or fishing related activities, such as:
1. Agriculture farms, ranches, fields
2. Food ware houses, processing plants, or canneries
3. Dairying
4. Poultry farms
5. Fishing/Shrimping and Fish farms
6. Slaughter houses
7. Cultivating/Harvesting Trees
8. Nurseries
9. Other agricultural related work
Services Offered: Students services for identified migrant children include one-on-one tutorials, record transfer packets, eyeglasses (if needed), school supplies and other opportunities throughout the year.
