Allyson Lara - Kindergarten Teacher
My name is Allyson Lara and this is my fifth year of teaching Kindergarten at Jane Long. I am a lifelong resident of Freeport and attended BISD schools, including Jane Long Elementary, Freeport Intermediate, and Brazosport High School. I received my associates degree from Brazosport College and graduated with honors from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. My Husband Jesse and I have three daughters: Taylor - 11, Jessica - 10, and Victoria - 8, and I have two stepsons: Josh - 19 and Jordan - 15. I enjoy taking aerobic classes, lifting weights, walking, camping with my family, and watching my girls play softball.
