I was born and raised in Houston, Tx.  I graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 1988. I began teaching in 1988, then married my High School sweetheart in July 1989.  I taught in Cy-Fair ISD and Conroe ISD.  I moved to Lake Jackson and began teaching in 1993 at Jane Long Elementary.  I have 4 children: Blair-12 years old, Jessica-9 years old, Abby-4 years old, and I recently gave birth to Emily on July 16, 2004.  My hobbies include taking pictures and putting them in CM albums, stamping, reading, baking, going to the movies, taking trips, and spending time with family.  I am currently teaching Title 1 which includes working with Kindergarten, first, and second graders.
