Sandra Consilio - Fourth Grade Teacher

Hello everyone! I am Sandra Consilio and I teach 4th grade Science and Social Studies at Jane Long. I am very excited about this year in science! The students will be involved in so many experiments and fun activities! Be sure to ask them what’s going on in science.
I attended my first two years of college at Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, where I earned my Associates of General Studies. I then transferred to the University of Houston-Victoria and earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I am a member of the Brazosport ISD Science Leadership Team and I am a science teacher mentor for the Region IV Science Collaborative.
My husband, Richard, and I have three boys. Dylan enjoys music and loves to hunt and fish. He plays the piano, guitar, trombone, and has a drum. Joshua enjoys playing baseball, football, and computer games. Anthony is the baby of the family. He enjoys playing with his older brothers and just being outside. He is dearly loved by everyone! As a family we take pleasure in going on weekend trips, camping, and going to dinner and a movie.
As for myself, I enjoy a good book that can keep my attention for hours. I enjoy doing different types of crafts, but my favorite pastimes are cross-stitching, smocking, and researching my genealogy.
