From promises of cutting back on homework to lowering the prices of gasoline, students were eager to express what they would do if they had a chance to change our world. Here are a couple of student's presidential campaign speeches:

"I am announcing today my candidacy for the President of the United States. You should vote for me because I will cut taxes, stop world hunger and make the world a better place. If you vote for me you won't regret it.
You know how your income tax is always getting cut short by those phony businesses? Well look no further because I'm here to stop it. Usually an average Americans income tax is about $5,000. This year about 50 percent of America got their income tax cut to $3,000 or maybe even less. So if you vote for me I will be the best president I could possibly be.
The kids in our world are being exposed to a life of crime and drugs. Do you really want that for your kids? I don't think so. So I will ban drugs from the world. People might try and sneak around with it but I will get this new system that when drugs are around it beeps until the police get there. So don't expect drugs to be around. Don't you see that if you vote for me I can change the world?"

"My fellow Americans, if you make me president I promise to make changes. I will lower prices on everything. For your kids I will ban homework and make new cool toys. I will give pets to anybody who wants one. I will give your kids more recess and less schoolwork. I will take 7 hours and 30 minutes of school and make it play time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I will let kids drive when they are 10 years old. I will build five more ice cream places and give free P.S.P's with the purchase of an ice cream. Vote for me and you will not be disappointed."
