Welcome to Mrs. Hawkin's Kindergarten Class
Mrs. Hawkins' class has been very busy. In November they measured the circumference, the height, as well as estimating and counting out the seeds in the class pumpkin. This was a fun hands on learning experience for the students. Their class has also been busy practicing and learning the alphabet letters and corresponding sounds. The children are working very hard at spelling and writing the word wall words. There has been much inventive spelling in their class. During the month of November they continued working on alphabet recognition as well as counting and number concepts. The students learned about Thanksgiving, pilgrims and turkeys. They also enjoyed all their Christmas activities.
