Welcome to Mrs. Greene's class
Mrs. Greene's class has started off the year with a bang! The students are learning things this first nine weeks that will help them become great authors. They're especially enjoying the idiom of the week. They've already learned that we don't always say what we mean. So far they've learned what it really means when we say, "let the cat out of the bag," "ants in your pants," "couch potato," "lucky duck," and "spill the beans." The students are also learning about how to make the right choices and be responsible for their learning as well as their behavior. Their theme for the year is S-M-I-L-E. It stands for:
STRATEGIC
MIGHTY
INTELLIGENT
LOVABLE
EXEMPLARY
S-M-I-L-E
It isn't any trouble just to
S-M-I-L-E
It isn't any trouble just to
S-M-I-L-E
There isn't any trouble that won't vanish like a bubble,
If you only take the trouble just to
S-M-I-L-E.
They're looking forward to a successful year.
