Welcome to Mrs. Susan Johnson's Class
Mrs. Johnson's class will be very busy learning many wonderful things this year.
A focus has been placed on Solving Problems this year. The student will take time for a Measurement Moment everyday. They will be mastering their Multiplication Facts from 0-12. The students are drilling, singing songs and learning "Time Tables the Fun Way" as they practice learning the facts even better.
The class is looking forward to becoming CHICKENS this year. This will encourage their effort in learning how to say No to Drugs.
The class will also be focusing on the Processing Skill in Science: observing, making inference, classifying, communication and collecting and interpreting data. Other activities have been planned for the year. The students will focus mainly on Texas in Social Studies. They will study it's land, climate, location, history and it's people of different cultures. The students will each be given the opportunity to lead the Pledge of Allegiance with the whole school.
