Welcome to Mrs. Soto's Second Grade Class

Mrs. Soto's bilingual second grade class is busy learning how to read and write in both English and Spanish. They will be reading Accelerated Reading books in both languages and testing every week.
In Science they have learned about the life cycle of plants and they will continue their studies on Earth Science.
In Social Studies they are learning about their communities and their environment.
In Math they are doing very well in their graphing and on their addition and subtraction facts. They will be starting their unit on place values.
