I am originally from Colombia. Our family moved to the US 11 years ago to be with my husband who was coming to attend graduate school.  I am going to school to become a teacher. I have 2 more years to go. I look forward to the day when I can be a bilingual teacher. I have been with the BISD the last 2 years, helping with bilingual classes. 

I have 3 kids, and all of them have at some point in their lives attended Polk. They love this school.
