Kathy Ward had been teaching Kindergarten at Polk for 27 years.  She is originally from Nebraska but, moved to the Lake Jackson area when her husband Joe started working for Dow Chemical.  She has three children Daniel, Julia and Thomas.  She feels very lucky to have six grandchildren Morgan, Joshua, Maddie, Jayden, Connor and Briley.  Her favorite pastime is shopping and being with her grandchildren.
