Mrs. Perry has taught third grade, fourth grade and a fourth/fifth multi-age class for a total of 27 years.  She graduated from O.H. Herman High School in Van Vleck and earned her degree at Prairie View A&M University.  Mrs. Perry is married to Reginald Perry and 2 children: Rodrick and LaTonya.  She is also recognized as Polk's 2006-2007 teacher of the Year.
