I received my Bachelor’s of Art in Teaching Degree  from Sam Houston State University in 1984.  I taught in Huntsville, Texas for six years and in Garland, Texas for year.  The rest of my 23 years teaching experience has been with Brazosport I.S.D., I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching here at Brazosport and at Polk. 

I received my Associate in Arts Degree from Laredo Junior College.  I think local colleges are great!!!  They really prepare you for the BIG experience at a larger university.  

My philosophy is:   All children can and do want to learn!!!!!
