Career & Technical Education (CTE)

The purpose and intent of the CTE Program in BISD is to support the goals set forth in the State Plan for Career and Technical Education.

The goals state that each student in our CTE program is expected to master the basic skills and knowledge necessary for:

  1. managing the dual roles of family member and wage earner, and
  2. gaining entry-level employment in a high-skill, high-wage job or continuing the student's education at the postsecondary level.
