2002 Bond Allocation

The sale of $128,500,000 in bonds was put before voters in September, 2002. Over 80% of voters approved the bond issue. A break-down of how the money will be allocated to improve facilities, enhance technology, and purchase capital outlay equipment is outlined below.

Stephen F. Austin Elementary

Remove and replace existing carpet and vinyl flooring
Complete renovation of public restrooms; new flooring in classroom restrooms
Replace 2 hollow metal doors, side lights; recaulk windows
Install door and frame at entrance to library cave

Add 4 electrical outlets in classrooms; repair/replace faulty wiring and circuitry in building
