BACKGROUND
Judy Thacker has been in education
for the past 22 years, all with Brazosport ISD. She has served as
a Special Education Teacher, 3rd and 4th grade teacher, dyslexia
specialist, and assistant principal.
When asked about her goals for
Roberts Elementary, she responded that she
wanted to continue Roberts' fine reputation which is built on effective
teaching
and learning, a positive school environment, and a commitment to
community service. She has set high expectations and knows that
the teachers come ready to serve our students. Mrs. Thacker
invites parents to support those high expectations and to join us in
working with our students as we continue the journey towards success.
When Mrs. Thacker is not "being a
principal" she enjoys reading, antique shopping, traveling, and spending
time with her family.
