The BISD Office of Instructional Technology offers after school and Saturday workshops to all district personnel on computer basics, software applications, and integration of technology into instruction. Registration for these workshops is available on-line through Eduphoria Workshop.

In addition to the district wide workshops, Instructional Technology offers campus-based staff development. These site-based workshops may be held during the day or after school. Workshops offered during the school day may require release time for the staff. In addition, small group conference period training sessions can be scheduled. Campuses should contact the Instructional Technology office to schedule a workshop date and time.

Online staff development is also supported by Instructional Technology. Currently courses provided by Element K are utilized in BISD for technology skills. Employees should contact the Office of Instructional Technology for more information on the online staff development opportunities in BISD.

Additionally online courses offered through Tech Stream/School Improvement are supported by the Office of Curriculum and Staff Development. Information on these courses are listed in  Eduphoria Workshop or you may contact Janice Constantine at 730-7016 for additional details.
