With Brazosport ISD's mixed computer environment, a broad base of experience and support is necessary. BISD has a Help Desk, on-line support for logging calls *, and trained on-site technicians. The Project Manager coordinates the technicians on staff, maintains and configures the student security on the Macintosh computers and Apple network, installs software, configures new computers, and provides one-on-one instruction as required. Help Desk technical support resolves problems over the phone as much as possible and provides one-on-one instruction. Technicians support both the Macintosh and PC platforms. *The on-line support for logging calls is only available from the BISD local area network. |
