Clip Art Standards
BISD students and staff are
expected to adhere to their signed Internet Acceptable Use Agreement
and the BISD
copyright policy. Feel free to contact publishing companies for
permission to utilize their graphics on the BISD website. Campus/department webmasters
should maintain this documentation and copies of student
permission slips for student created clip art.

Include location of credits/permissions for all clip art as
a comment on the source page.
Any graphics from the following sources may not be used
unless documented permission is obtained:
| Another web site |
| A program that you own |
| Clip art collections |
| Scanned images from posters, books etc. |
| Any altered clip art |
| Student art work without their permission |
Clip art from Microsoft Office or ClarisWorks may be used if the program
is installed on your computer.
