Congratulations to all of the seniors who are graduating
as a Texas Scholar from the Brazosport Independent School District. These
seniors have earned special recognition as a 2008 Texas Scholar by the
Business/ Industry School Partnership and the Brazosport Area Chamber of
Commerce.
Each Senior Texas Scholar is to be commended for making a personal
commitment to prepare for the highly competitive and technical workplace of
the 21st century. The future of our nation is dependent on students such as
these, who chose the rigorous academic standards of the Texas Scholar
curriculum.
First, the Texas Scholar seniors will be honored at an awards ceremony in
the Ballroom at the Lake Jackson Civic Center on April 23, 2008. BISD 12th
grade Texas Scholars will be excused from classes for both the ceremony and
luncheon.
Parents are invited to attend the 11:30 a.m. awards ceremony.
There will be a special luncheon for all Senior Texas Scholars to be held in
the Terrace Rooms.
Due to space limitations this is for the Senior Texas Scholar students only.
* Students are to report back to campus for 4th period.
