Four students from the Brazoswood Band, have earned All-State honors from the Texas Music Educators Association. The honor of All-State is earned by less than three percent of those who try out, with nearly 73,000 students beginning the audition process. The students participated in competitive auditions at the District, Region, and Area level to attain All-State Membership, which is the highest honor that a Texas music student can receive. These students are invited to rehearse and perform with the other All-State musicians under the direction of nationally-known conductors for thousands of attendees at this year’s Texas Music Educators Association Convention. This event will take place February 13-16 at the Henry Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio.
