Brazosport and Brazoswood Transonic Rocket Teams were among 16 schools that presented their projects to NASA and received approval to move forward with design and construction. BISD students presented math models they created to describe the flight and recovery of their rockets. Graphs of acceleration vs time, velocity vs time and altitude vs time tell the story. Now these rockets must be built exactly as they were designed so they will have a stable flight through the sound barrier.
We can’t wait to follow our rocket students through this exciting process. Great job!
