Randy Wuensche, BISD Coordinator of Assessment and Accountability, was named the 2018 Region 4 District Testing Coordinator of the Year by the Texas Statewide Network of Assessment Professionals (TSNAP) during the annual TASA State Assessment Conference in Austin this week.

This prestigious honor is given to individuals who exemplify excellence in their field.

Wuensche has been employed with Brazosport ISD for 15 years, serving the last four years in his current position. He graduated with a Masters of Education from St. Thomas University.

TSNAP is a professional organization that supports the needs of assessment professionals throughout Texas. The purpose of TSNAP is to:

  • develop a communication network to assist with implementation, improvement, and maintenance of the statewide testing program.
  • share information about testing in educational settings.
  • encourage the appropriate use of testing in educational settings.
  • improve the applications of measurement to students and educational programs.
  • encourage research in the area of elementary and secondary school testing and measurement.
