New State Accountability Ratings & Distinctions Show Evidence of Quality Education in BISD
Accountability ratings released today by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) show that Brazosport ISD continues to rise near the top in student performance indicators. The district received a “B” letter grade (88).
“We are extremely proud of the efforts of all our staff and especially our teachers who ensure each of our students are learning at high levels. This is more evidence of the high quality of education our students are receiving in Brazosport ISD,” said Superintendent Danny Massey.
Four campuses in Brazosport ISD earned the highest possible “A” Exemplary rating from TEA: Brannen Elementary, Roberts Elementary, Beutel Elementary, and for the second year in a row Lake Jackson Intermediate. Roberts Elementary, Ogg Elementary, Ney Elementary, Lanier Middle, Brazos Success Academy, and Brazosport High School all showed more than double digit increases compared to the previous year.
