This is the image for the news article titled Brazoswood Students Learn to Put Leadworthy Principles Into ActionClose to 100 Brazoswood students came together for about five hours to learn how to put Leadworthy principles in action and take personal responsibility for leading on their campus and in their community. Organized by the Flippen Group and Capturing Kids Hearts, this valuable curriculum covers team building, healthy relationships and a sense of personal responsibility. The Flippen group sent two of their leaders to the Brazoswood campus in early February for their new Leadworthy Local event to help volunteer students not just learn these concepts, but to take action.

The students came up with several campus service project ideas to bring to the Brazoswood student body such as Affirmation Stations, Selfie Stations and Door Greeters.

Coach Stacy Neiswander said of the experience, “I have been blessed to be able to share this experience with these students and our other Leadworthy teachers. Our students came up with some awesome ideas to help make Brazoswood a campus to brag about.”

With one of the highlight themes of the event being “Be Remarkable” I’d say our Brazoswood students are leading the way!
