A.P. Beutel teacher Jim Young started LAUNCH this fall, which is 8-weeks long and uses team building activities, character studies and building rockets as a way to address important life skills!

The December 14 rocket launch was interactive and fun for all which was evident by the smiles on the faces of the participants. One of the grandparents present, Mr. Ron Damian shared his reflection, “This was my first time to be involved in a rocket lift-off, and I had just as much fun as the students.”

“As exciting as it is to launch a rocket, helping to prepare a student for their future lift-off is an even greater thrill,” says Mr. Young.

Thank you Mr. Young and volunteers for going the extra mile and for the life lessons passed on from such outstanding learning experiences.
