NOTICE: The conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic are continually evolving, and Brazosport ISD’s return to school plans will be constantly evaluated to adapt to the continuing trends of the COVID-19 virus, especially in our BISD communities and Brazoria County.

Back to School Options:

Brazosport ISD will offer two options of instructional delivery models for our students: Traditional At School Learning on campus, or At Home Learning. The At Home Learning option is being provided for our families who have health and safety concerns with sending their children back to school. Visit the links below to learn more about each option:

Regardless of which learning option you choose for your child, the expectations for coursework and the grading system will be the same for both At School and At Home Learning. Brazosport ISD believes this is the most fair and equitable solution for all of our students. Applicable courses in 9th-12th grade will be included in calculating GPA and class rank for both in-person and at-home learning students.

Online Registration Process for Returning BISD Students:

We are moving rapidly toward reopening school and need you to complete the following steps so that we can ensure that your child is scheduled correctly. Before completing the two steps below, please read the Be Ready 2020 Parent Information, the At School Learning FAQs and the At Home Learning FAQs so that you are fully informed as you make your decision.

It is essential that every parent of a returning child to BISD complete the online registration process. The online registration process will allow you to complete all of the annual required documents prior to the start of school. This step is especially critical if you intend, or you are considering to engage in the At Home Learning as the best option for your child when school reopens. If you plan to choose At School Learning, this is the only step you need to complete for registration purposes. Click here to access online registration.
